Firefox On Nokia N900

The Nokia N900 has been Nokia's flag ship cell phone model for a few months now and is still one of the coolest phones around.  Unlike many of the big name Android phones and of course the iPhone this cool Nokia product has a slide out qwerty keyboard and has some serious computing power.  Since it is one of most powerful cell phones on the market, this caught the eyes of the developers at Mozilla. Now you can download the popular Mozilla Firefox web browser on your Nokia N900 phone!

There is no other phone on the market that is currently offering the Firefox web browser, so Nokia owners can rejoice because now they are one up on all other smart phone owners on the market.  One of the most popular features that has been around for years on the desktop version of Firefox is the ability to add on new plugins to extend its functionality.  This same feature is also available on the mobile Firefox version.  This makes Firefox the first mobile browser in history to offer plugin ability to cell phone users.

You may already love the built in browser, but the Firefox mobile browser is definitely worth a look. You can always switch back and forth this is just one more great option that Nokia has to add to its powerhouse list of  features on the Nokia N900 cell phone.
